VGD Card Online Application: Bangladesh Government announced New Vulnerable Woman Benefit Circular for Bangladeshi Citizens. With this, citizens who will be selected for this will get 30 kg of rice each month. They will get the opportunity to continue till 31 December 2024. VGD Card Online Application
Every year Bangladesh Government announced VGD Programme for Bangladeshi people. Only Upazilla Parisad will be included in it. But, the process is completed by Chairman, Members, and some leaders in every Union Parisad.
Basically, the Government starts the program for poor people across the country. Because they will be able to get 30 Kg of Rice every month which will continue for two years. Recently, the authority changed the name VGD to VWB Card.
VGD Card Apply Date & Time
As the VGD Card for 2021-2022 going to end in December, the Bangladesh Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MOWCA) released a new notification for VGD Card for the years 2023-2024. The notice was published on 16 October 2022 for Bangladeshi People. The Online Application will continue till the mentioned date.

How to Apply for VGD Card Online Application?
Interested people who want to get the opportunity, have to submit an online application. For this, they have to enter the official website and need to enter some information as per the National ID Card. After completing the application, they will get VGD Card for 2 Years.
However, follow the instructions given to know how to submit;
- First of all, you will need to open MyGov Android App or Enter the official website at http://dwavgd.gov.bd/.
- From the homepage, you will need to click on “উপকারভোগী আবেদনপত্র ২০২৩-২০২৪” button.
- Then, a new page will appear on your screen.
- Now, Select the Application System. For you, click on “Self”.
- Enter your National ID Card Number.
- Input Your Present and Permanent Address Correctly.
- Upload Color Photo.
- After completing all the details, click on the “Submit” button.
Once you succeed to submit the application, you will need to download the VGD Card Online Application copy. For further reference, you may take a printout.

Note that, the application will be automatically sent to Union Parisad as per the rules.
Who will be eligible for VGD Card?
There are few requirements have been set by Bangladesh Government in order to select Eligible People. If the applicants submit the application within the right time, they will be selected as per the ranking system. But, the following information should be followed for everyone.
- Applicants who are 20 to 50 Years Old, can apply.
- National ID Card is mandatory for Application.
- If the applicants don’t have land or are under 0.15 acres, they will be eligible.
- The Family member who works in Agriculture or Daily Labour.
- Age under 20 or above 50 Years will be ineligible.
